About Us

The Tom Roush Auto Group enjoyed humble beginnings in 1972 when owner and namesake Tom Roush opened the very first Mazda franchise in Indiana with then partner Bill Shore. The original store was called Roush-Shore Mazda and was located on South Meridian Street in Indianapolis. Mr. Roush was partners with Mr. Shore at a southside Ford store called Sharp Ford, where Mr. Roush had been since 1956. He sold his interest in 1977 to acquire what was to become Tom Roush Lincoln/Mazda in Westfield Indiana. That store grew from less than 20 employees in 1977 and less than 100 car sales per month to nearly 100 employees and nearly three times the sales volume. In 2018, Roush acquired the previous Mitsubishi franchise located in Fishers, Indiana and converted it into a state-of-the-art Lincoln Vitrine store-one of only 3 in the entire country at that time.

Mr. Roush is joined by his son, Jeff, who has been at the dealership since 1980 and Jeff's two sons, Tommy and AJ, both serve in important roles within the stores. At the time of this writing, Tom Roush operates in 2 different locations: Mazda - Mitsubishi at the original Westfield store, and Lincoln at the newly remodeled store in Fishers. Tom Roush Auto Group is celebrating 50 years in business and the Roushs look forward to serving the community for many years to come.
